Hi, I'm Touko Raudasoja.

I'm a 42-year-old Finnish entrepreneur and the founder of Caritera.

I grew up in an entrepreneurial family near Tampere. My father worked as an architect and business owner for more than four decades, and his work taught me early on that things built to last are built with patience, courage, and honesty.

My career has taken me through Norway, Sweden, and Finland. I've worked in construction, real estate, and for over ten years in the car business. In 2019, I started my own car dealership.

Over the years I've met thousands of customers and seen up close how people make some of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

But I noticed one thing.

Buying a car had become easier, but making the decision hadn't.

Information was scattered. Documents got lost. People had to make expensive decisions with too little information.

The thought stayed with me.

In the autumn of 2025, life stopped.

I traveled to bring my father home to Finland from northern Italy after he fell seriously ill on holiday.

He passed away on the way home.

That journey changed how I think about time. I understood that we only get one life.

If I was going to build something, I wanted it to be something that actually mattered.

That's how Caritera was born.

I didn't want to build just another marketplace. I wanted to build the best platform in the world to help people with the two biggest purchases of their lives. For most people, that's a home and a car.

I want people to have access to every piece of information, history, documentation, and AI-driven insight available, so they can make safer and better decisions.

I've designed and built Caritera myself. Every feature has grown out of real problems I've seen customers face over the years.

Today, Caritera already works in 24 languages.

People often ask what my biggest goal is. It's not to build the world's biggest company. It's not to have the most users.

My biggest dream is much simpler. I want at least one person in every country where Caritera is available to be able to say:

“Caritera helped me make a better decision.”

If I can help even a small part of the world's people with the most important purchases of their lives, I'll know I've built something that truly matters.

This is only the beginning of the journey.
